How the numbers work
Characters are counted the way LinkedIn counts them: every letter, space, line break and emoji. Unicode bold or italic letters count as 2 each.
The fold is approximate: LinkedIn cuts after about 210 characters or 3 lines on desktop, and earlier on phones. It changes with screen width, so keep the hook in the first line.
Reading time assumes about 200 words a minute.
Also free: the hook generator and the text formatter.
