YourPostWriter

Switching from Kleo, Taplio or Supergrow

Bring your drafts, ideas and scheduled posts with you. You don't need any special export: a spreadsheet saved as CSV, or your posts pasted into a text box, is enough.

1. Get your posts out of the old tool

We haven't checked the export options of Kleo, Taplio or Supergrow ourselves, so we don't describe them here. If your tool lets you download your drafts or queue as a CSV file, use that file. If not, copy your drafts into a CSV (one row per post) or paste them as text, with a line of --- between posts.

2. Import them

In YourPostWriter, open Posts → Import. Upload the file or paste it, check which column is the text, the title and the date, and look at the preview before you import.

  • Future date: goes into your queue at that time, in your profile's time zone. A date with no time is set to 09:00.
  • No date or a past date: goes to Drafts.
  • [Placeholders] still in the text: goes to Drafts, never the queue, until you fill them in.
  • A short line with no post text: goes to Ideas.
  • Rows we can't read (bad date, empty, over 3,000 characters, a stray comma) are listed with the reason, so you can fix and re-import them. Rows already in your posts are skipped.

Importing never publishes anything. Queued posts go out only once you connect LinkedIn, and you can unschedule any of them.

A CSV that works

title,body,date
Hiring lesson,"My first hire taught me one thing.

Hire for the job you have, not the one you hope for.",2026-11-03 09:30
Why demos fail,,
Pricing,"We raised our prices last month. Here is what happened next, and what I would do differently. A post with no date goes to Drafts.",

Dates can be written as 2026-11-03 09:30, 03/11/2026 9:30 am (you choose day-first or month-first), 3 Nov 2026 or Nov 3, 2026 6:15 PM.

3. Bring your voice: your past published posts

Posts you already published on LinkedIn teach YourPostWriter how you write. Download them from LinkedIn's own data export (Shares.csv) and upload it in Voice. Steps: Import your past posts.
