Analytics import and insights

Upload LinkedIn's analytics export and get plain-English findings.

LinkedIn gives personal-profile analytics through its own export file. Until LinkedIn approves our analytics API access, this is the safe way.

  1. On LinkedIn, open Analytics → Content (from your profile or the "Me" menu → Posts & Activity → analytics).
  2. Choose a date range (up to 365 days) and click Export. You get an .xlsx file.
  3. In YourPostWriter, open Analytics → Import and upload the file.
  4. Click Get insights. We compare formats, lengths and weekdays and suggest what to write next. With fewer than 20 posts, treat the findings as hints.

Best time to post

Once 6 or more dated posts are imported, Best time to post lists the weekdays that beat your own average. LinkedIn's export has dates but no times, so we keep your current posting time unless your import had real times. One click turns those days into your queue slots.
