Repurpose a YouTube video
Paste a YouTube link and get LinkedIn posts from the video's captions.
- Open Write → Repurpose.
- Paste the YouTube link (watch, youtu.be, Shorts, live and embed links all work) and click Write 3 posts.
- We read the video's captions, the same ones YouTube shows to every viewer, and write posts in your voice from them.
Which captions we use
We pick captions in your post language first, then English, then YouTube's auto-generated captions. Auto-generated captions can have mistakes in names and numbers, so check facts before you post.
When it doesn't work
- No captions: some videos have none. Open the video on YouTube, click ⋯ → Show transcript, copy it and paste it in the text box instead.
- Private, age-restricted or removed videos can't be read.
- The posts only use what's in the video. If it's someone else's talk, the AI credits them; keep that credit.
